You will be mesmerized by the magnificent views from every room of this Mediterranean-style oasis reminiscent of an Italian hill town. This elegant compound, designed by a prominent Manhattan architect, consists of four clustered buildings and an infinity pool sited in a luxurious tropical garden. Enjoy the sunset over Tamarindo Bay from the shaded outdoor living room and al fresco dining under the pergola with adjoining spacious grilling area. Surrounding the pool on the terrace level below, sun and shade lounging is afforded in the jasmine-scented garden is surrounding the pool (with underwater benches) is flanked by the lounge chairs of a jasmine-scented garden and a separate bougainvillea-covered palapa. Underwater benches in the pool offer a particularly appealing viewpoint.
The vaulted-ceilinged indoor living room, furnished in an eclectic style integrating elegant art and antiques with a comfortable upholstered sofa and armchairs, enjoys the same sweeping view as the indoor dining room, which is adjoined by a spacious state-of-the art kitchen appointed with Brazilian marble countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a gas oven with six burners.
You can hear the surf from each of the ocean-view bedrooms. The luxurious master bedroom, with Juliet balcony, king-sized bed and flat screen TV, adjoins a large master bath where the strata-tiled shower overlooks the ocean view. A spacious dressing area leads to a sixth bedroom/study with views of Playa Tamarindo and Playa Langosta. The lower level of the main house consists of a second living room (with flat scene TV), two bedrooms (one with a queen-sized bed and chaise lounge, one with a double bed), a large bath with glass enclosed shower. All rooms are appointed with Travertine floors and Guanacaste hardwood doors and are fully air conditioned.
