Casa Monarca Santa Teresa

Casa Monarca works great and provides outstanding value for families, groups of friends and even couples looking for more amenities & privacy than the common hotel room.This private, gated, ½ acre lot is part of a 3 home 2.5 acre, with 60m of private beachfront in front of the best surf break in the area. We have a fulltime caretaker and are located on the beach in a quiet residential neighborhood, in the exclusive Northend, one mile north of the bohemian surf town of Santa Teresa. This 2400 sq ft. home was built (2006) to US standards and renovated in the fall of 2009 to approximately 3,000 square feet in total.

The house is furnished with typical handmade Costa Rican wicker furniture. The master bedroom “Honeymoon Suite” offers a King size bed, a full and a double slider out to the terrace overlooking the pool and its own private bathroom. This 650 square foot suite is appointed with high quality finishings, stone floors, marble countertops, Helvex fixtures and an overhead rain shower. The second master bedroom has a King size bed, a private bathroom and closet with a safe. The third bedroom is a “Kids room” with a bunk bed, ample closet space and a bathroom next door.

The kitchen is well equipped with a full size refrigerator with ice-maker, 4 top gas stove and oven, microwave, toaster oven, blender, coffeemaker, Stainless Steel cookware, dishwasher, indoor and outdoor dining areas, a built-in outdoor grill and all the necessary utensils for cooking. The spacious living room is a very nice place to relax in the oversized wicker sofas, king size sofa bed. The kitchen/livingroom area opens through double sliders out to an ample terrace area including two social areas, hammockas and a ding area overlooking the pool and private gardens.
